Meet The Team
Samantha
Samantha joined the centre 20 years ago after completing a BSc in Psychology from Nottingham University. Inspired by her family’s deep love for animals and her dog Rosie’s battle with hip dysplasia, she pursued a career in hydrotherapy, earning a Level 3 qualification from the Hawksmoor Training Centre. Although Rosie couldn’t benefit from the hydrotherapy pool that opened in 2008, Samantha has since helped countless dogs through personalised treatment programmes. In 2019, Samantha expanded the centre’s services with a state-of-the-art water treadmill. Today, she leads the team in providing tailored rehabilitation to every dog.
Emma
Emma joined the team in April 2019, bringing nearly 13 years of experience in canine rehabilitation. With qualifications in Small Animal Hydrotherapy, advanced aquatic treadmill therapy, and canine massage, Emma delivers effective treatment plans for dogs of all types. Her own experience with Ellie, a lively Briard, showed her how hydrotherapy can aid recovery and offer fun, structured exercise. Passionate about building bonds with dogs and owners alike, Emma is excited to help every client’s dog live a pain-free, active life.
Daniel
Daniel's career began with a BTEC in Animal Management and a BSc (Hons) in Animal Behaviour from Liverpool John Moores University. After gaining his Level 3 qualification at the Whitehouse Centre, he specialised in advanced water treadmill therapy at Greyfriars in 2016. With experience in boarding kennels and catteries, as well as a busy vet referral practice, Daniel brings practical expertise to the centre. Since joining the team in 2019, he has helped numerous dogs and even a few cats recover through hydrotherapy.
Clare
Clare started at Cheshire Canine Hydrotherapy at the end of 2019 and was able to gain work experience whilst completing her qualification in small animal hydrotherapy. Since then, Clare has worked with a huge variety of breeds in need of rehabilitation who have been suffering from a broad spectrum of conditions. Coming from an animal background has always been involved in some form of animal care, be it through working or volunteering and sought to improve her knowledge by obtaining a degree in Biology. From being a teenager, Clare has worked in kennels, dog walking and spent nearly 8 years working as a zookeeper where she took care of animals across the taxa. Clare's passion for animals has also led to volunteer in different animal rehabilitation centres around the world, including Belize and Indonesia. Having a dog growing up and being the proud owner of beautiful girl Lottie, Clare is very passionate about canine health, and always seeking ways in which to improve her expertise.

I am grateful to work in such a lovely setting alongside an extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic team and love the fact I get to work with dogs every day!
